The adults of Clonorchis sinensis are 10-25 mm long by 3-5 mm wide and have 2 gut branches that run longitudinally along the length of the body. The uterus (arrow heads) commonly contains eggs.
Clonorchis/Opisthorchis, eggs
The eggs of Clonorchis sinensis and Opisthorchis are morphologically similar: they are among the smallest of the eggs found in stool (19-35 micrometers long), "urn-shaped" and have a shouldered operculum.
